WebSep 11, 2024 · If it is a default folder and the retention policy assigned to the mailbox includes a folder retention tag for that folder, all items in the folder pick up that tag. If it is not a default folder, all folders and items in the mailbox pick up the default retention tag in the policy unless a personal tag is assigned to a folder or item. WebRPT's can only be used for Retention and not Archiving. Only a Default Policy Tag can be used for archiving, and it applies to the whole mailbox and would cause Calendar/Notes/Tasks to move to the archive. Only hope would be to provide Personal tag to disable archiving for specific folders, but the Outlook/OWA interface don't let an end …
